Provisions of Family Account Rules

I. Establishment of family account

1.     Family account householder applicants login FWC account on the website of FORTUNE WINGS CLUB. Householders need to fill in information online to apply for establishing family account.

2.     During the opening and subsequent use of family account, FORTUNE WINGS CLUB has the right to require the applicant to provide proof of family relationship according to the needs of examination or management. Please mail the valid certificate to ffp@hnair.com.

3.     For members whose family relations fail under review but family relations are true, please delete the member. Within 1-2 days after successfully submitting the account opening application, please send a valid certificate to ffp@hnair.com as soon as possible to apply for assistance in adding the member. The contents of the application mail shall include the FORTUNE WINGS card number and name of the head of the household, the FORTUNE WINGS card number and name of the member, a description of their respective family relations, and relevant supporting materials. If the time to send valid certificates is delayed, adding members may fail.

4.     Valid certificates include marriage certificate, divorce certificate, account book and other marriage relationship certificates, parent-child relationship proof materials such as household register and birth certificate, as well as other proof of family relationship with legal effect.

5.     The head of the household may add 1-9 family members at any time within 7 natural days from the date when he/she first submitted the application for family account.

6.     It will take effect from one o'clock on the 31st natural day after the householder submits the application date of family account (inclusive).

7.     Agent accounts or enterprise accounts shall not apply to become a head of household or join a family account as members.

 

II. Membership of a Family Account

1.     The applicant from a family account is the head of the household in a family account. The head of the household and every member in a family account must be member of FORTUNE WINGS CLUB and registered under one family account. Everyone can only belong to one family at a time.

2.     The applicant (head of household) must be over 18 years old.

3.     Each family account shall consist of at least two members (including the head of the household) and may accept a maximum of ten family members, i.e. "1+9". "1" is the head of the household. The head of the household in family account is the initiator of family account. The head of the household must be a member of FORTUNE WINGS and must be at least 18 years old. "9" means five family members. Membership includes father, mother, spouse, father-in-law, mother-in-law, child 1, child 2, child 3, brother/sister.

 

III. Relevant Rights and Interests of a Family Account

1.     Effective family account, including the head of the household and members of family account, will receive an additional 10% bonus for award points if two or more people take the same flights which Airline code is HU/CN and can accumulate award points. The reward amount is based on the total amount of base award points and status bonus points earned by each peer member, and is accumulated into the family account. This promotion starts from today to December 31, 2024. No additional bonus points can be awarded in the following situations: special plane, charter flight, code sharing flight,other member airlines of FORTUNE WINGS CLUB, flights flown  before family account and Members added takes effect; all kinds of award tickets (including classic award tickets and flex award tickets), group tickets, tickets designated by member airlines for non-cumulative points.

2.     Householder can use a family account to redeem award tickets. Award upgrades, hotel, car rentals, FORTUNE WINGS Mall and other rewards are not supported at the current time.

 

IV. Rules for the Use of Family Account Points

1.     Each family account shall set up a family-owned points account, and the points shall be rewards for activities or refunds for award tickets, etc.

2.     The head of the household uses family account to redeem award tickets only for family members (including the head of the household). Beneficiaries under the names of householders and other members may not use family account to redeem.

3.     Only householder is allowed to use family account to redeem rewards. Only when the balance of points in the personal account of the head of household is no less than 10 can the redemption be conducted. If the balance of points in the personal account of members is less than 10, they will not participate in the redemption.

4.     When redeeming rewards, priority will be given to deducting points in the family account. If the points in the family account are insufficient to offset the redeem requirements, the remaining part shall be deducted with the corresponding amount of points according to the proportion of the points balance of each member in the family account. If after deduction of points in proportion, there is still have a difference, the head of the household will make up the remaining points.

5.     If there is a need to refund or change award ticket(s), the head of the household in the family account should use the personal account number and password through the redemption channel. Refunded points will be returned to the family account (not to individual accounts). Cash expenses for the refund and change shall be paid by logging in the FORTUNE WINGS card number of the head of the household.

6.     Householder needs to check whether family members have changed their initial passwords when using the family account for redemption. Redemption is prohibited if the initial password has not been changed (including the head of household and members).

7.     Abnormal personal accounts of heads of households and members (prohibition of redemption, freezing of accounts, merging of accounts, etc.) may lead to failure in redemption of rewards or accumulated points.

8.     The head of the household has the responsibility to negotiate with other family members in advance and be allowed to use the corresponding points. Hainan Airlines and FORTUNE WINGS CLUB are not responsible for any disputes arising therefrom.

9.     Householder and family members can view the points records of a family account. Each family member can view the points records in the "Points Detailed Records" of their respective accounts.

10.   The validity period of individual points for family account members is stipulated by FORTUNE WINGS CLUB. If there is no change of points in the family shared points account for 24 consecutive months, these points will be cleared, but family account still exists.

 

V. Member Management in Family Accounts

1.     The head of the household in a family account logs on the website of FORTUNE WINGS CLUB with the FORTUNE WINGS card number and password. The head of the household must fill in information online to apply for adding or changing family members.

2.     When applying for opening family accounts, the head of the household shall ensure that the invited members confirm it within seven days from the date of application. Members will not be able to confirm the invitation after it expires. Confirm that the invitation address is the website of FORTUNE WINGS CLUB.

3.     From the date of a family account's establishment (counted from the date of family account's effective date), only two members in the family account are allowed to be added/changed each yearAnnual Quota. The successful addition of family members will take effect 30 days after the date of application. With the following situation is allowed to add members:

(1) When a family account status is applying, members can be added at any time within 7 days from the date of submitting the application. Members added during this time period are not counted as annual quota.

(2) When a family account status is to be effective, members are not allowed to be added during the period from 7 days after the date of submitting the application to before family account takes effect.

(3) When a family account status iseffective, two members can be added every calendar year. The additional members will be counted in annual quota after member confirming the invitation.

4.      When adding members to an effective family account, if there are members added but not yet effective in the account, the application for adding members cannot be initiated. If members need to be added, the application can only be initiated again after the last added member takes effect (30 days after the last application was issued) or it expires.

5.      From the time of application or when members add applications, the head of the household can login the website to delete family members at any time in family account. It will take effect immediately after delete. The extra points accumulated by this member in the original family account will not be returned to his/her personal account. And the number of members in the family account must be no less than two.

6.      Family account members can login FORTUNE WINGS CLUB website to exit the family account. When there are two people in a family account, including the head of the household, family members cannot apply for withdrawal from family account.

7.      If members quit from the family or head of household delete members before the family account/members status become effective, the member can create or join a new family account.

8.      If family members quit from the family account due to changes, deletions, withdrawals and other reasons when family account or member status is effective, the member can apply again to join family account after 180 days from the date of withdrawal. The extra points accumulated by this member in the original family account will not be returned to his/her personal account.

 

VI. Cancellation of Family Account / Application

1.     The head of the household can login the website to cancel the application for establishing a family account before the status become effective. After cancellation, all family members can create or join a new family account.

2.     The head of the household can cancel family account when the family account status is effective. After the cancellation of the original account for 180 days, all family members can apply to establish or join family account according to the procedure.

3.     After a family account is applied for cancellation, the total points in family account will be cleared.

 

VII. Other Notes

1.     FORTUNE WINGS CLUB has the right to dissolve family account that violates the regulations according to the account management rules.

2.     Family account applicants and heads of households have the responsibility and obligation to manage the members in the account.

3.     The final interpretation right of family account belongs to FORTUNE WINGS CLUB of Hainan Airlines.
