You may only begin redeeming your miles once you have accumulated at least 3000 kilometers in your Fortune Wings Club account.
Redemption Method
I. Air tickets
1. Call the hotline£¨86-898£©950717 or contact the local sales offices if you are abroad.
2. Visit a Hainan Airlines office or the Fortune Wings Club at the airport to redeem a ticket or an upgrade award. Please present your Fortune Wings Club membership card and personal identification.
3. Members are also able to redeem for awards on China Airlines, Air Berlin and Malev Hungarian Airlines. Please call the hotline (86¡ª898)950717 to apply 2 weeks in advance.
II. Non-Airline Rewards (only available in mainland china)
1. Contact the Fortune Wings Club service hotline at (86-898) 950717 for awards inquiry and to redeem mileage.
2. Bring your Fortune Wings membership card, personal identification and fax a copy of your redemption documents to the designated location to claim your awards for yourself. In the event someone claims your rewards for you, the original copy of his/her personal identification shall be provided.
3. If you prefer mail delivery, award certificates will be sent by regular mail.
   
Terms and Conditions
I. Hainan Airlines, Grand China Air, Lucky Air, Tianjin Airlines, West Air, Hong Kong Airlines and Hong Kong Express Airways
1¡¢ We will mail a formal membership card and handbook once you have completed two qualifying flights or have accumulated mileage over 3,000 Fortune Wings Miles on your Fortune Wings account.
2¡¢ Redemption for air ticket awards are limited to ¡°HU¡±, ¡±CN¡±, ¡°8L¡±, ¡±GS¡±, ¡°PN¡±,¡°JD¡±,¡°HX¡±, and ¡±UO¡± flights operated by Hainan Airlines, Grand China Air, Lucky Air, Tianjin Airlines, West Air,Capital Airlines, Hong Kong Airlines, Hong Kong Express Airways, and excludes special flights, international chartered flights or other code-sharing airlines.
3¡¢ Children and infants need to pay the same as the redemption amount required of adults.(This rule will be valid from January 1st, 2011. )
4¡¢ With the applications of reward tickets redemption submitted by members, mileages will be deducted when reward tickets were reserved, and then which ticketing will be operated in specified way.
5¡¢ It is suggested that you be flexible in your travel plans in the event that seats might not be available on a certain day due to a limited number of seats for award tickets allocated for each flight.
6¡¢ The redeemed award ticket and award upgrades will be valid within one year, and will be invalid if overdue. Reservation refund could be processed before the flight taking off, free re-booking could be processed according to the seats provided within the validity of the ticket; the ticket will be invalid after the flight took off.
7¡¢ Name and flight segment of the redeemed award ticket can not be changed, and the redeemed award ticket can not be endorsed to other airlines; the deducted mileages of voluntary ticket refund will not be returned, taxes and surcharges and making-up of the ticket money could be applied for returning within the period of validity of the ticket, and other transportation conditions are the same with ordinary tickets.
8¡¢ The paper award ticket cannot be reissued if it is lost.
9¡¢ In the event that an involuntary change results from factors on the part of the carrier, you may contact the Fortune Wings Club or the original ticketing office within one month to make changes to the ticket or have the redeemed mileage returned. Mileage will be voided if it is not returned within validity period.
10¡¢ Award tickets are not available to special passengers, including unaccompanied children, sick and injured passengers, blind, deaf-mutes, pregnant women (more than 8 months), disabled, prisoners, stretchers and other passengers restricted by the rules of carrying and transporting.
11¡¢ In the event that there is more than one preferential offer (including promotions offers) available when you request ticket redemption, only the highest offer applies, and the offers cannot be enjoyed more than once or combined with other offers.
12¡¢ Relevant taxes and fees associated with the award ticket must be paid.
   
II. Award Upgrades for Hainan Airlines, Grand China Air, Lucky Air, Tianjin Airlines, West Air, Hong Kong Airlines and Hong Kong Express Airways
1¡¢ Redemption for reward upgrades are limited to ¡°HU¡±, ¡±CN¡±, ¡°8L¡±, ¡±GS¡±, ¡°PN¡±, JD¡±£¬¡°HX¡±, and ¡±UO¡± flights operated by Hainan Airlines, Grand China Air, Lucky Air, Tianjin Airlines, West Air, Capital Airlines,Hong Kong Airlines, and Hong Kong Express Airways, and excludes special flights, international charter flights or other code-sharing airlines.
2¡¢ Children and infants need to pay the same as the redemption amount required of adults (This rule will be valid from January 1st, 2011.)
3¡¢ Upgrading shall be made at least 90 minutes prior to the flight departure. International upgrading shall be made the day prior to the flight departure.
4¡¢ For a ticket that is redeemed for an award upgrade, mileage will continue to be earned according to the cabin class prior to the upgrade. Passengers may change the segment or flight dates for the upgraded ticket when the designated Class is available. Passengers may need to make up the price difference if the lowest discounted price of the Economy Class ticket of the changed flight exceeds the ticket price prior to upgrade. In the event that passengers have to make changes on an involuntary basis and the airline is not able to provide an award upgrade seat, then the ticket will be used for the original cabin class and members may contact the Fortune Wings Club to claim their mileage refund. Mileage exceeding the validity period will not be refunded.
5¡¢ Redemption for upgrades is available only for Y/B/H/K/L/M/Q class when flying Hainan Airlines, Grand China Air, Lucky Air, Tianjin Airlines and West Air, and for Y/B/H/K class when flying Hong Kong Airlines and Hong Kong Express Airways.
6¡¢ For aircraft with three-class cabin configurations, the ticket may only be upgraded to the next immediate higher class.
7¡¢ All relevant taxes and fees associated with the award upgrade must be paid.
   
III. Awards from Partners
1¡¢ Confirm that merchandise awards from partners are in good condition at the time of redemption. No exchanges will be allowed after redemption.
2¡¢ 2. Awards suppliers are responsible for the quality and after-sales service of the products.
3¡¢ Due to market price adjustment, limited storage or other reasons, the redemption standard or reward categories are subject to change without prior notice.
4¡¢ Redemption by mail delivery is only available in China and the awards will be sent by regular mail unless otherwise specified. Please contact the Fortune Wings Club member Hotline for inquiries if you do not receive your awards within two weeks. You have up to six months to inquire about your awards, which is the time limit set by the postal services. Any inquiries exceeding the validity period will not be accepted.
5¡¢ In-flight duty-free products may only be collected on Hainan Airlines international flights departing from Beijing. Members shall bring their redemption document to flight attendants and ask for their award duty-free products.
